[He steps forward, swiftfooted but no where near as adept as he was when Tris knew him originally. Still, it's entirely play, and he's shoving Tris back slightly before leaning in to bite his cheek-- he plays dirty. Always has, ever since he used to regularly get into scuffles way back when. ]

[Tris doesn't fight back at all, not because he can't, easily he could have Jupiter in many pieces across the room or just immobilized. But he's not serious and magic is cheating when rough housing with Jupiter--]

[He didn't expect the cheek biting though, fingers curling in Jupiter's shirt in surprise where he was reaching to shove the blond off. The problem is, it stings but that's only really a turn on.]

[ Jupiter was counting on that surprise. The bit isn't hard enough to break skin, because wounding the King is a bad idea, but he uses the chance to grabs Tristan's hand and dig his nails in, dragging them across skin enough to scratch. ]

[That hurts but you know Tristen is into it but he shouldn't, show that. He shoves his other hand in Jupiter's face conveniently blocking his own flushed reaction by shoving the younger man off. He does indeed bleed red.]

[ He fights against the hand in his face, smirking wide. ]

[God he wants to kiss Jupiter so badly, taste his skin and shove him against the wall and feel him and wow you have a hold of your own hormones get it together Tris. He keeps his hand on Jupiter's face and stands up, turns and shoves Jupiter into the window seat, so all Jupiter sees is his back when he lets go and starts to walk away.]

But just between us, in another life, perhaps you're the one I'm unequal to. And as brothers, well, I'm still older. But there's no one I trust more to be at my side and help me do what must be do, there's no one I trust more period. You're smart, Jupiter, capable, and I need you with me. If I weren't Emperor equality wouldn't even be a question.

[He curls his fingers against the back of Jupiter's neck, tone lightening a little from serious to teasing.]

As I said though, you'd still be my little brother so it's moot anyway.

[ Jupiter stays close, forehead resting against Tristan's chest, face not rising. He doesn't seem entirely convinced, not entirely satisfied. But he's quiet. ]
