But just between us, in another life, perhaps you're the one I'm unequal to. And as brothers, well, I'm still older. But there's no one I trust more to be at my side and help me do what must be do, there's no one I trust more period. You're smart, Jupiter, capable, and I need you with me. If I weren't Emperor equality wouldn't even be a question.

[He curls his fingers against the back of Jupiter's neck, tone lightening a little from serious to teasing.]
